Clouds shrouded the sky and obscured the sun on a gloomy Sunday, pushing the maximum temperature down by nearly 6\u00b0C and keeping some neighbourhoods locked in \u201ccold day\u201d conditions.<\/p>\n
Sunday\u2019s maximum temperature was 18.6\u00b0C, three degrees below normal, and a sharp drop from 24\u00b0C on Saturday, showed data from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).<\/p>\n
A shallow fog also draped the Capital in the morning, even as the minimum temperature increased from Saturday\u2019s 4.3\u00b0C to 6\u00b0C, three degrees below normal, as an approaching western disturbance brought relatively warmer winds to the city, said the IMD.<\/p>\n
The agency said the minimum will rise by another 2-3\u00b0C over the next three days, while the maximum will hover around 22\u00b0C-23\u00b0C.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
